Agree....it's such a huge storm, though...hurricane force winds over 100 miles in all directions. The further east it stays, the better, I'd say east of longitude 89.4 and the city will likely escape the worst. I wouldn't put money on it, however....

Certainly, as far as oil infrastructure goes, the further east the better as the LOOP and Port Fourchon facilities are basically due south of downtown NO.
