It has come up. There are a lot of posts on the internet about it- read them. You probably never researched it before- so you just don't know how much is out there. From the reaction here I thought it must be some off the wall idea, but no, it's not. Some of the URL's are even from ardent supporters of the military who believe the brainwashing is absolutely critical, and I happen to agree with them. If some people here could distance themselves a little from their emotions, they might understand that I actually think the training is a highly effective tool, to make our army an efficient fighting force.

I have no idea why an idea which is obviously pretty common (judging by all the hits I got) makes people so wild here. Go figure.

If you can find something in my post, feel free to comment about the IDEAS. If you see a world view articulated by a post, feel free to comment on that as well, as long as you aren't just making something up. Unfortunately for you I said nothing negative about you that wasn't right there in your post (I don't think I even labled it as negative- i just described it). As I said, if the shoe fits, and you pointed to your own shoe, and described it for us here on SI, and you don't like someone to mention that the shoe fits, change the shoe. You know what I mean? I've changed my shoes a couple times because of that. (there, that's personal. Feel free to comment negatively on that idea about changing one's behavior)
