I think it's a good thing that car companies have been dumping their inventories in the last few month. Maybe they'll invest in walking shoes and bikes. The idea of a shock to the system is a terrible idea but this may be what it takes...a ZAP...before the oil fueled lights really start to go out. Why in the world were SUV's so in demand for the last couple of decades? Why did cars continue to get heavier, suburbs so much farther away and houses so much bigger? It was definitely more fun to be living in delusion.
