Well, I am coming around to your point of view in some ways but not to the extreme that you are. I dont think you realize what we are trying to accomplish here. I do not believe we should encourage or even allow if we can outside interference. As to the Sudan, you miss the point. The USA doesnt intervene for purely humanitarian purposes, we intervene when its in our National interests. We believe a democracy in Iraq would be in our national interence as coupled with Turkey and Afghanistan it runs a dagger right through the heart of the volatile Middle East. This is a World shaping event Bush is trying to pull off that would change the dynamics of the world forever. jdn

The biggest threat to us, would be that bush caused destabilization in the whole mid-east and oil production would be greatly decreased or shut down.
