I've always had a soft spot for the 'underdog' in any industry, and AMD has outperformed Intel handily this year in stock price. They also consistently outperform Intel in chip performance at the high end, and are finally making some inroads in the server market. Intel's one ace has been low power/long battery life with it's Centrino platform. If AMD can crack that area to a better degree, it would really help them ever more.

Best regards,
John

PS - Market doing very well so far today in view of the circumstances.

K, they sure could use your services down in LA... The Federal government better get on the stick quickly, or they are going to get a huge black eye as my perception is that things are rapidly looking more like Haiti down there instead of the US...

Best regards,
John

K, HPQ, the 'teflon' stock. <ggg>. DOW up, HPQ up, DOW down, HPQ up. In tech these days the strategy is SO simple, just short Dell and go long HPQ.

Best regards,
