Would you say it costs perhaps a minimum $110 per foot in hard costs to build a concrete block modern home? In major metro areas probably $150+. It will be up to $200 to build by the time helicopter man is done. Not enough to bail out residential in CA and bubble markets with too much value in land but it sure will help RE values in the midwest where any property you buy is cheap because the land has little value. In fast growing inexpensive markets values will really skyrocket.
