No, no, Haq. When you take the Marine Highway to Alaska, you pitch your tent in the solarium on the deck of the ferry. If you don't have a tent, just put your sleeping bag on one of the lounge chairs. Lots of people do it.

Then order a cabin and sleep on a real bed. They're available but I'd order early. You would love the scenery and have a chance to drive back on the Alkan.
