Meanwhile, the US will continue bleeding both lives and money and when it's over, if it ever is, the nation will be impoverished and friendless and the people disillusioned and angry. And for this they can thank the neo-conservatives (both Republican and Democrat) and the delusions of those who support them. The irony -- and possibly the justice, if there ever is justice -- is that the US brought this debacle on itself and will, in fact, be the victim of its own misguided policies. And I'm not even talking about all the other innocent victims who have to suffer for nothing.
