Because you're lying if you say the war in Iraq has anything to do with our freedoms. Iraq was not threatening our freedoms. The only ones threatening our freedoms are the ones trying to dominate our government and change the laws to protect big corporate gouging, sell our congressional legislation to the highest bidder, cheat to steal elections and legislate their own brand of intolerant morality, including dictating what we do in private bedrooms and hospital rooms. Also, those who lie to get us into wasteful wars, keep attacking our free press to intimidate them, demonize war protesters and whistleblowers, and those who refuse to investigate major corruption scandals in our government. America is supposed to have a relatively open, honest government, for the people by the people, not for the rich special interests for the corporate gougers, polluter and tax evaders. This land is our land, not theirs. Also, if you want to know what really enslaves us to the Middle East it's our over-dependence on oil. That is, the gas guzzling and energy waste which has been encouraged by this Texas oil administration, who are by the way best buddies with the Saudis, the largest exporters of terrorism on the planet by far. If you want to fight terrorism ask Bush why he let Osama Bin Lauden go at Tora Bora and hasn't mentioned him since.
