The political plan seems to be, keep personal pain away from your constituents as much as possible and get re-elected.... Yes, it does. If the Dems weren't such idiots I would be tempted want them back in office. But they are even worse. It's the old "do you want a broken arm or a broken leg?", choice.

Agree with you on that, Rambi~~ BUT can you list a single Dem who is seriously doing anything about it, except going in front of the microphones and mouthing the words about doing anything about the illegal immigrant situation? I can't. The only thing we can do is try to fire every single one of them, and don't elect anyone else unless they have all the needed qualifications for the office, PLUS will enforce our immigration laws. That won't happen. So we had better start writing emails to our Congress folks, WITH A COPY to at least 10 newspapers and see if we can work things that way. Pat Buchanan, Pat Robertson, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and all the rest of the left-left wing and right-right wing are losers. Americans deserve better. But to get better, we have to insist on better. The job doesn't pay for cr*p, the hours are long and 24/7 (evidence, Bush's so called vacation in August ---at least most of Congress took time off out of the glare, unless they wanted to make a trip, and have the country pay for it)... So who can we get that is bright, honest, doesn't have skelton's in the closet, isn't a womanizer or worse, and all of the other etc's.....???
