Hi Dealer: I've been watching the coverage on the damage a lot. I use to have an office in New Orleans years ago. Would fly down there almost every week and sometimes daily.

Have lots of friends down there. Every one of them that I've heard feedback about has lost their homes. Fortunately, they are safe and spread over several states. There is only one friend that I've not heard about who was in a hospital at the time and we're not sure where he ended up or how he is.

Being familiar with the city, I recognize the locations and pictures quite a bit.

People don't realize how far inland destruction was. I have friends in Jackson and Vicksburg, Mississippi, that had their homes damaged significantly and were without power for days, and that is way far inland. Also, a brother of one of my partners who is a doctor in your old stomping grounds in Birmingham said they lost power there and just got it back a couple of days ago.

Have a great weekend, Dealer!
