i think one guy was harrigan? on fox. so dumb. so selfish looking for his high against the storm. flying matter that could have seriously injured him and then what about his family.

What this guy and some other reporters were doing was way out of line and producers for these networks need to be reprimanded and fired imo.

I cannot see why we need all these reporters sent into a major storm to report rain, wind or snow in winter vs the local stations handling the feed.

Is it so much different to have your local field reporter giving an update from the storm vs someone from a sister station who lives there giving the same report? These networks can use some financial controls and maybe they would be able to produce more local interesting news back home vs blowing their whole budget sending someone across the country to cover something the national networks are covering.

To see some of the nyc reporters flown into new Orleans and other locations for cabel tv appeared to be over kill. again can't the locals handle the situation professionally.
