Bushies should care about democracy and corruption. It's their country too, and God knows the rightwing is not going to be the majority party for long. How would they like liberals rigging elections and robbing the treasury?

But maybe cheating and trading favors with industrial fat cats is the only way they can get power in the first place, that an exploiting calamities like 9-11, even if they're partially responsible for it happening in the first place.
