Ain't it so... Civilization has to be twenty times more attractive to the Sheeple than is barbarism, because barbarism (Darwinian conquest) is so very effective; so attractive to the down-trodden who just want a piece of it, respect after being slammed as "inferior" or payback for past oppression. Takes so little to destroy...takes so much to organize and build. Now we've let corrupt leadership gain the reins of power... They have the trappings of civilization, but are barbarians at heart. Thus, we are destroying the legacy of several centuries by ignoring what wise leaders have told us. And, what do they (the wise of yore) say? It takes just as long to walk out of the forrest as it did to walk in, and there you are, right back where you started only without the resources used while wandering and pillaging. We are going to have to walk all the way back out of the forrest... and then deal with what wreckage we've left before the next level of progress can be made. What a waste of time, resources and lives. i.
