I may try that eventually. The problem I see with Full Tilt is a lack of player traffic and the people who are there are good players. They are the folks who think they can beat Jesus Ferguson or Howard Lederer, and go there to take a shot. Though some are just deluded about their abilities, many are actually sharks.

T.J Cloutier and Tom McEvoy have the best book on Omaha.

Interesting promotion on Poker Room this holiday weekend. The 10 people who win the most tournament points over those 3 days will join a private, $20,000, one-table tournament. If you win a 10 player tourney, you get 25 points. You also get points for second. If you win a 5 player tourney, you get 15 points and nada for second. The dollar value of the tourney doesn't matter.

Here's how I scope it out: The best players are going to drop down to the $5 tourneys where they hope to be matched against monkey fish who give them a blank look when they mention that a flush beats a straight. But they will find themselves at a table full of fellow sharks all looking for an easy win.

Meanwhile, the $50 and $100 tournaments will be filled with dummies who entered them by mistake, thinking they were $5 and $10 tourneys. Which means they will be easy pickings for a top rated monkey fish such as myself.

So, I should either have a really profitable weekend, if I'm right, or get blown out of the water totally if the smart people are still playing the higher levels.
