well maybe the politicians will listen to the guy now Once they bring in FEMA, and some kind of real oversight over the Army Corps of Engineers, etc., I think something will be accomplished. Sadly, the recent investigation of New Orleans Congressman William Jefferson is just one more in a string of sad stories of politics in Louisiana. Unless you've lived there, it's hard to imagine how incompetent the government is. And the locals just take it for granted, or if they know better, are resigned because it's been that way forever.
