man made catastrophy imo

Everyone who builds on these shore lines know at one time or another they are going to get wiped out.

One lady being interviewed a week ago.. third time she got wiped out. Oh, but it is so pleasant when the sun shines.

Meanwhile we keep throwing money into rebuilding sand dunes , beach repair, retaining walls at our expense. Then we go in there and provide federal aid when something goes wrong.

just last year in south jersey a number of developments went under water. Heavy rains broke a dam, which cause several more to break, (all private owned and i assume not maintained) causing these developments to go under numerous feet of water. today the place is a mess , no money to fix dams , and civil actions will have to be taken against owners of private dams,, but most likely they are broke. Only people who make money on these deals are the developers who build, sell and run.
