I'd say if it was a grocery store, let them have the goods before it rots. Those stealing from homes should be shot.

When I went through my worst hurricane (Donna) it was a different time. The stores opened their stores and GAVE ALL THE FOOD AWAY cause the couldnt keep it frozen. I remember there was a dairy delight in my neighborhood, bunch of us boys went up there and ATE ALL WE COULD, all with the owners permission. Since I like that icecream it was a memorable event for me for a lifetime. jdn
