John; Exactly! It is situations just as this that we have government employees. If you don't use every resource imaginable RIGHT NOW, you might as well not have these employees. I mean every NG unit and even the active services. They have tons of amphibious vehicles that the military could strategicly locate to save lives and prevent looting! The problem with shooting people or giving them 20 year sentences is that the perverts doing this aren't watching TV! .......If this was my home, I wouldn't want to leave my house for a second to be ramshackled by looters. steve

Just amazing .. was watching CNN video feed showing the Lake Pontchartrain causeway in more detail .. a few people trapped on the causeway .. sections of the road out in both directions .. a few abandoned cars .. and also some video shot by a storm chaser who positioned himself on the 4th level of a concrete parking structure of one of the Biloxi casinos .. showing the storm surge as it occurred .. also footage of Dauphin Island or what's left of it .. including an entire oil rig platform that had washed up there .. Triff ..
