Patricia, I am in the rare position of having absolutely no answers for you.

I am in Houston while my wife, who is a federal court administrative mucky-muck, is downtown setting up emergency procedures for the courts to follow in the next few weeks.

I am stuck in my sister-in-law's home going stir crazy making useless phone calls and taking care of my son. It's a beautiful setting but I still don't know specifically what happened to our home.

My wife tells me that because communications are down, there is damned little information coming out of NO even to the federal government. They are relying on CNN, Fox and such. The Feds have as much info as we do.

As far as he breach of the canal is concerned, I am worried that the people handling it are getting tired and stressed because of the long hours and may make bad decisions.

The best information, and there is very little of it, seems to be coming out of bloggers and from nola.com, go to the forums and check on the weather board, it isn't much, mostly people asking questions.
