Feds Arrest Nassau (Long Island) Judge Newsday ^ Federal authorities today arrested a Nassau judge and about a dozen other men after an FBI probe into illegal gambling, extortion and money laundering. Nassau District Court Judge David Gross was arrested along with three members of the Genovese crime family and 11 other co-defendants, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. The men face various charges, including illegal gambling, extortion and money laundering. After the arrests, they were processed at the FBI office in Melville and are expected to be arraigned this afternoon in Federal District Court in Central Islip. (Excerpt) Read more at newsday.com ...
