"No decision has yet been made whether to have public hearings to investigate the validity of the scientists' findings"

Pretty much says it all. Public hearings to determine the validity of research results. What a charming concept...

Ted, Now any fool knows, including the idiot with the bow tie, that global warming, assuming its true, is responsible for the higher temps in the oceans and the seas. And everyone knows that Katrina powered up once it hit the waters of the Gulf whihc are running two degrees above normal.

When Katrina was approaching, I heard Rush and his fellow dittoheads predicting that liberals would find some way to blame Bush for the natural disaster.

I can already hear him saying it now, "See, I Told You So!" And he would be right.

As for Katrina, don't you think it's a little early to be predicting an apocolypse on the order of "The Day After Tomorrow"?
