Think of oil as a vast pool, if some evaporates everyone drawing from the pool suffers, regardless which end of the pool you draw from. But, the real problem IMHO is refining capacity. It was sorely stretched to begin with, with something like 10% of the national capacity now down prices have got to rise. Frankly, I have always despised those envirowhackos that inhibited us like this, now they have created a National catastrophe. I hope we can rebuild the refineries and expand some in areas less susceptible to the whims of nature. I also hope this PROVES that we MUST drill in Anwar if for no other reason than to disperse our production. jdn
