The rightwing is doing a good job of destroying itself now. Just let it continue. In 2006, we can look forward to a real opportunity for moderates and liberals to take back congress, then impeach Bush-Cheney. As for 2008, it's too far off. The Dem nominee may not even be on the playing field yet. Don't worry, Lieberman types who helped Bush need not apply. Biden is more liberal than Lieberman. I think Biden may have a deal with Kerry letting him try to test a run first, then if he fails, Kerry replaces him. Kerry knows he can raise the money, enter at the last minute and compete, but Biden doesn't. All serious candidates must find ways to raise tens of millions of dollars.
