expect they plan to fill a few trailers with sand and drop them into dikes on wed. then get pumps going. after that i expect they will try to bus, truck those people out to tent cities, mod housing another stadium?

i guess if you rethink the putting of them in the dome in the first place it wasn't such a smart idea.

We need those LSTs like they used during Normandy

They are rounding up flat bottom boats. I think evacuation is going on now. It will be "tent city" somewhere close.

<<Six feet of water in the Superdome. Where are they going to put those people? There aren't enough helicopters.

We need those LSTs like they used during Normandy.>>

They're being used as rides at the Wisconsin Dells.

The other night, I asked about how stable the SuperDome was...it is 25' above sea level, so that means the water is 31' above level....

Seattle imploded the old Kingdome (old...it wasn't that many years old, and had been revamped as well...then some tiles fell off the ceiling...ANOTHER tax levy to fix the tiles....) Then the Democrats in charge of the city and the county decided to destroy the old one, and sell bonds and have more taxes to build another TWO sports buildings.

BTW, we are still paying for the Kingdome "ceiling tiles" levy, even if it is long gone.

Hope the folks in the Gulf Coast DON'T pay any attention to the folks up here in the blueleftcoast.
