"I've got a bad feeling that it much worse than we imagine..."

Remember that they aren't even counting the dead in Louisiana. Many areas can only be reached by air or by boat, the roads are washed out. So what has happened in many of the small communities in the affected area can only be guessed at. In New Orleans, there is only one road that exits the city now...

I don't know how big Sidell and Bay St. Louis are but very little is known about their condition. And now they are interviewing people from Biloxi. They are people who went through Camille and say there was no comparison. They are devastated. And they too have seen dead bodies floating by.

That area has always been a worse case for hurricanes. I still say it is questionable whether or not New Orleans will be rebuilt where it is, instead of relocating it somewhere else.

I agree. I think we may be seeing New Orleans last days.......except I don't think it will be rebuilt but rather Baton Rouge made bigger.

They just had a professor on from Tulane. He said he thought the power would be back on in NO within the week and school would be back back in session in two. I think this guy may be in for a rude awakening.
