Sioux, when voting, I only care about a person's character, that they are competent and have a rational, honest, open approach to the issues, and, finally where they stand on the issues. I can't imagine why sex, color, religious beliefs, height, weight or any of that stuff matters.

I have similar criteria for people I would hire (except I don't care where they stand on political issues, just on job related issues).
