At least he could do a fly over to get a first hand look. Nothing like seeing something for yourself. And it would SHOW people that you cared. But I know that a unrehearsed, unstaged, or ad-libbed visit is not the Bush style. Maybe he would be unsettled by the questions. I don't know, I never was in government, but I HAVE ALWAYS responded quickly to emergencies.. And I have yet to screw up by doing it. And I have helped a lot.
