Yes... and just checked again. All the .dbx folders are there with megabytes of data in each. Some of them have multiple subfolders from when I saved the main Identity folders from the backup... in other words, there are more than one "abc".dbx folders after a search, but each under different identities. Maybe if I could identify the "Identity" Outlook Express is using when I run it, I could then move all those non-appearing folders into that identity. But then, why do the folders show up in OE when I run it, but they are empty? Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately, those folders contain important e-mails.
