It could have been far worse. The death toll could have been in the 100k's plus. What has been done has been remarkable. People of NO should be proud of what has been done.

The doomsday scenario for NO has been well documented.

These are not things that can be done by the private sector. Giving huge tax breaks to the wealthiest people will not benefit most people. The trickle down theory is hog wash.

If government tried to do anything about it, there would have (believe it or not) a lot of anti government people trying to run those people out of government.
