MSNBC tonight had film footage of NOPD officers looting a WalMart. I hope the female officer who was caught on tape realized as she walked away that she just lost her career. (though, when all is said and done, she may not have a job left in any event.)

I have been too busy to watch -- I can only imagine the horror as I see your words. For so many people, this wipes them out -- down to the very last things that define them -- the small things like photos of family and all the other things that are so simple and yet so personal and so impossible to replace -- and for so many there is no money to replace anything -- what a terrible, terrible tragedy.
