The CIA had a relationship with Al Qaeda. In fact it might be a deeper relationship than the one hinted at in the 9-11 commission report with Iraq. In fact, the CIA funded and armed OBL and Al Qaeda. In short they created Al Qaeda.

Same with Saddam himself. Another CIA project gone bad. Course that was better than letting the Ruskies get a hold of the oil.

You are appearing daft in your blindness to the obvious reasons for fighting in Iraq.

What is the obvious reason for fighting in Iraq?

Bush gives new reason for Iraq war
Says US must prevent oil fields from falling into hands of terrorists
By Jennifer Loven, Associated Press | August 31, 2005

CORONADO, Calif. -- President Bush answered growing antiwar protests yesterday with a fresh reason for US troops to continue fighting in Iraq: protection of the country's vast oil fields, which he said would otherwise fall under the control of terrorist extremists.

boston.com

The new reason for the war is the same old reason, except that we were going to get the WMD...and the oil would pay for the invasion.

How can the terrorists take control of the oil? They can't. Hell we can't even get control of the oil. How many tankers could make it out of a terrorist controlled Iraq? Every one that tried to leave would be bombed. Protection of the vast oil fields means controlling the oil plain and simple. And now it's Bush that is finally admitting the real reason for the war.
