Generally, when political/economic spectrums are discussed, the US is seen to be politically right and a very capitalist country. Yes it is relatively capitalist compared to most other countries. Its relatively socialist compared to our countries earlier history. Yes, and that's a good thing that the US can afford. The gov't should not be allowing so many people to live at levels that are below subsistence; to allow so many people to be starving or living in homeless shelters. ted
