Maurice Re: " What's Coming" I could accept a position that is instead stated; "What MAY be coming". <g> We have a very poor record of predicting the future. Do you think any European monarch, diplomat or Field Marshall of 1914 could have predicted 1919? Nope, and we have a vast collection of their pre-1914 writings that serve as proof. And if you want a good chuckle go read the literature of the 1950's forecasting the state of the world at Y2K. If those predictions came true it was on another planet. We are talking about the future, and with that ANYTHING is possible, including your vision.

I must honestly admit a bias against this type of idea. For one thing it requires an absolutely materialist view of the world and I don't accept that view. Without getting anywhere near the subject of religion, I profoundly believe in a spirit world, having experienced evidence of its existence. And I also believe that at least some humans have extra-sensory gifts, indeed I do myself, however poorly developed. So believing this way it is hard for me to accept that we are no more than an evolved biological process. I think we are MUCH more than that.
