It seems to me the story being missed by everyone is the dikes. The cameras are standing around watching water as if it's magically appearing out of nowhere. If they've abandoned the dikes, that in itself is a huge story.

The picture they are showing the most is from yesterday. Bringing in barges of large rocks and dropping them into place sounds like the best solution.

With the amount of coverage we are getting we will be able to watch what works and what doesn't in detail.
