Thanks very much, Oral. After I posted that link to the Times Picayune coverage I couldn't make it work. But my computer is so overwhelmed by all the stuff we've loaded it up with that I cannot tell if it's me or the link that's broken.

Between everything awful happening down there and the 648 people trampled to death in Iraq that I just read about on the net, it is a very sad day.

Wierd, I was just going to post the same URL to that news blog. Glad you did, Oral.

What an awful situation those hundreds of thousands of folks are in. The potential for catastrophic disease (dysentery and cholera among them) is high, due to contaminated water.
