Yes, we usually settled. The last one I refused to settle and we fought it against our attorneys advice. Sure enough, the case was thrown out of court BUT it cost our company $15k just as advised. I insisted we go back to the judge and get another ruling allowing us to recoup our costs. Attorney said, no use, would cost ANOTHER 15k and he had checked and found the plaintiff judgement proof. Incidentally, this fellow sued me from Denver, I have never done any business in Denver, nor any of my employees. It was a PURE FAKE SUIT, and his attorney knew it. TRUST ME, in general litigation attorneys are all WHORES. jdn
