Democrats are going to be saying all those things much more now. The Bushie revolution is over. Just a matter of draining the swamps and cleaning up the mess, then holding the culprits accountable.

Bushiesplanned this coup d'etat for many years and were ruthlessly clever. In 2000, Dems were complacent. The investigation into Clinton's sex life took the luster off his successful presidency. Guys like Lieberman condemned CLinton's infidenlity and got himself on the ticket with Gore. Then the Bushies started their energy gouging and dirty tricks campaigns. They used the rightwing echo chambers to dominate the press, while still claiming the press was liberal. Then they fixed the vote in Florida.

9-11 played right into their hands. That gave them about two years where they could get away with almost anything. 2004 was tragic because, though Bushies cheated and smeared to win, Bush was just about to collapse. If only the election had been held even a few months later.

But this is now and the future is what matters. 2006 looks like clean up the government and payback time. Don't be surprised if Bush, Cheney, Delay and Rove all end up impeached, resigned and/or indicted.
