Icebrg....OUCH! Our gas taxes are usually less than $0.50, but since we are a big industrialized country low fuel prices have contributed to our national prosperity. I imagine that you uses far less fuel per capita and much of it is produced by your country for your own use. Much of our current fuel cost (about 30%) is directly due to oil speculation by large institutions like hedge funds and wealthy arbitrageurs manipulating the markets. I imagine your supply is state owned and "managed".
