Well, KLP: I posted Noah with tongue in cheek. Without our government, we would really be in bad shape. Without the interventions of the Federal, State and Locals, the poor people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast would be in even worse shape than they are now. At least these interventions have the ability and the capacity to make a horrible situation liveable for more than a million souls. And Noah served another purpose for me: it kept me from having to further engage in meaningless exchange with several others on the thread. And that was a blessing in itself.
