Chris > Bush and his cadre of military industrialists only want money SPENT OUTSIDE THE BORDERS

That's a fact.

> where WE CAN"T MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE

That's true but I'm sure there are other reasons

1. The more dollars in circulation everywhere, the more the dollar functions as the world's reserve currency. This is very important especially now that the Euro has been mooted as an alternative. One might call this dollar imperialism which is part of the globalism agenda.

2. The tidal wave of dollars is very anti-deflationary, or inflationary depending on how one sees it. Actually this may be beneficial to the world economy providing there are not too many dollars. Unfortunately, one of the manifestations of the dollars everywhere is the world-wide property bubble. This means that there are already too many dollars in circulation.

3. The more dollars in circulation everywhere, the more that people, especially foreigners, are able to keep purchasing US debt instruments. As you know, it is mainly foreigners who, by buying US Treasuries, enable the US to balance its books to the tune of $2bn worth of debt daily. Since the creation of debt is the way the Fed "prints" money, the more debt which exists the more money they can print. This, in fact, is the frightening aspect of the trillions worth of existing debt because, already, it can never be repaid and it's clear that the US has no alternative but to keep creating debt (printing money) in order to keep the economy going. If the printing stops there will be a massive recession/depression like in the 1930s -- which may yet happen because the printing cannot go on forever. Already the US uses about 90% of world savings to accommodate its debt.

4. If they use the money in the US that they create it is very inflationary so they go the round-about route of issuing the dollars outside the US. This smoothes out the inflation internationally and allows economists everywhere to believe that there isn't any inflation anywhere -- or so little as makes no difference. This is complete baloney.

> God forbid they would use the money HERE AT HOME

That's the guns and butter story -- if one spends one's money on guns, there isn't anything for butter -- and the US spends $500bn+ annually on the military. In fact, all the debt can be accounted for by the military expenditure.
