Soon it will become VERY CLEAR that we can't afford to continue to spend over a billion U.S. tax dollars each week on the Iraqi adventure...It's time to take care of our citizens at home...Hurricane Katrina could cost our country much more than the 9/11 disaster...What if we have more big hurricanes that hit the Gulf Coast and Florida in the next year...? Is it responsible for the Bush Administration to insist that the big tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy need to be permanent and are essential...? Life's a series of compromises and the wealthy in this country need to make some more sacrifices...We have a war on 2 fronts right now and we CAN NOT afford big tax cuts (responsible folks like Soros, Buffet and Gates have admitted this). Will our President have the courage to repeal the tax cuts on the wealthy so our country can make the necessary infrastructure investments to protect ALL the American citizens...?

I talked to my friend who is a nurse. she was screaming that is terrible. there are bodies just everywhere. people are stealing all there supplies. i don't know how to get this information to the news station. This is first hand information. there is 25ft of water in the hospital. Please please help. Apparently other hospitals are now being looted as well, by armed gangs. Swell....

The debate on Global Warming in the scientific community is over. Now its in the political arena. "The debate over whether there is a global warming signal is over now at least for rational people.", Professor Tim Barnett, Scripps Institution of Oceanography aaas.org One of the bizarre phenomenon in recent years has been the emergence of pseudoscience in the guise of "science". Or perhaps what is bizarre is that the media gives them any credence. No real scientist disagrees that: 1) the earth is in a warming trend and 2) man is contributing to that trend. And you are correct - the question now is what do we do?
