Zeal, fervor..the desire to be better... Some of the same emotions that might make religious Zealots.... Certainly not political motivations.. ???? Religious people of any denomination...who believe everything that they are told. No searching for anything further as the answers for all are provided. Basically most human beings have a lot of fears, unresolved issues from childhood and family... Most of us are not all healthy and in that place where we have it all together.. JMOE.. Anyway, EST rather much promised answers to conflicts people might have in their daily lives... and to give them some satisfaction of having life worked out. There response was to get IT....being a Noun...And the reply was I GOT IT. I took the course at the behest of a friend. Learned a lot but never succumbed.. Actually only joined the workshop on integrity to make new friends as I was alone in a strange land having retired alone to Florida... Made some really con men friends. They feast on people in groups like this.. but I only learned this later. What was interesting was how groups of people can be herded. NOW, most people taking this course were lawyers, teachers, doctors,real estate people. Lonely people... Not a bunch of nin cum poops. It was well represented by professionals.. I only posted the article to show that it is not too difficult with the right message to lead people to become part of a group... What motivates the Muslim terrorists to commit suicide.. The promised Virgins in heaven... What IS BRAIN WASHING... It doesn't have to be mind boggling.. People will buy anything. Ask Barnum and Bailey..
