Byrne was the major funder of the NCANS anti naked shorting ad. Byrne continually complains about Overstock continually being on the Reg SHO list, which he and Bob O'Brien consider proof-positive of naked shorting. O'Brien brags about how Byrne would not be hiring a slew of law firms (six, as I recall) if he didn't have irrefutable proof of naked shorting and a Sith Lord from the 80s pulling the strings behind the scenes. So it follows that people like Seth Jayson might get the idea the Rocker/Gradient lawsuit is obviously related to naked shorting despite no overt references to it. Yet Byrne rips him a new one for even hinting as such. Say what?

Byrne needs to understand that it's one thing to debate with someone who, rightly or wrongly, you consider to have things all wrong. It's another to call him a liar and therefore "one of them." This latest rant is sure to get additional attention by the "usual people" in the press, hence proving to Byrne it must be one big conspiracy.
