I'm pretty sure I won't be sending aid to a Muslim country when their next disaster strikes. I can't believe I did it the last time around. I recently read an article that described how alot of the aid money went to gangs and bad actors in the area. Aid goods were looted big time. No controls or accountability for the money that went there.

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe many Muslims never know that we are giving them aid. I remember one country repackaging aid from the US and claiming it was from their gov't.

If we should expect aid or at least some small show of support from Muslims during our times of crisis, then perhaps they should not expect our aid and support during their own times of crisis.

I think it might be best if the US stops giving aid to the Muslims and others. I think it raises American expectations to a level that doesn't serve us.
