Houston didn't just get it's gut ripped out by Katrina..........NOLA has no communication systems and no means to recharge.........LA is in a state of emergency with rescue operations taking precedence over anything else. IT's not an excuse but you can't compare NOLA right now to any other city. IF Houston got hit by Katrina they would be sending people to the Superdome. If IAH and Hobby closed down the city would halt............heck if the power went out there the people would panic that they couldn't eat out. My son just did a job for a major agency of the state of Texas................they couldn't even get him accurate payroll info!!!
