Shades Re:"Pickens" Its not that oil is running out. There is lots of oil and will be vast amounts of it left long after we are gone. So there will be plenty of commodity for an oil hedge fund guy like Pickens to gamble over, even long after "peak oil". Pickens is not out to save anyone but himself, after all he is a shark. He is not trying to make the world a better place. Despite some of the Wall Street propaganda, neither are Gates or Buffet. They are transnational pirates too, maybe worse ones that Pickens.

Grumman made a splash with windpower back in the 1970's and not as an investor but as a technical developer. But their developments were a bust.
