Saw Steve Forbes at a Republican picnic in Seattle when he was running for Pres. He is very bland and drolls on when he speaks, but his flat tax idea is quite appealing.

The black market wouldn't go away, but I like the idea that even illegals wouldn't be able to avoid being taxed.
