Global warming is very very real. Don't joke about it. The human race has been burning so much fossil fuel (and forests) over the past 50 years that our atmosphere has turned into a greenhouse, trapping those hot fumes and gradually warming the earth. Bush-Cheney are like lobbyists for the fossil fuels business and have tried to take us backward in terms of defending the future of this planet. Low-lying cities like New Orleans are doomed by global warming, just a matter of time. Now it's happened. Even if they rebuild, it may happen again. What can we do about it? Get off oil completely ASAP. That will also stop wars in the middle east and the corruption which is now rampant throughout the energy business.
