Our local chain called Quick Trip did this on 9/11. They jumped gas price 2/3 bucks per gallon. I sent them a scathing letter along with all of my company cards diced up and told them I would never do business with an outfit like that again. Well they heard from many obviously because they rebated anyone that could prove they purchased gas that night and the next morning and fired several managers, etc.

So that brings us to today. They are almost afraid to raise prices now. The other day when everyone else in town jumped .35, they did not. And they haul their own gas and had tank trucks sitting at every station waiting to dump more into their tanks.

I think they got it:)
